I was really trying to explore a few options… It was one of those times I felt I went too far and then I tried to scale it back…

I think I like the WIP better, but art is all about experimentation and exploration.

This portrait was drawn in ink, scanned, and then digitally manipulated and colored to create the final artwork that I felt worked best to submit back to Reddit Gets Drawn for the pleasure of the poster who submitted their photo. I love to draw and the best thing about this is that I choose which photos to draw, however I have received many requests from people for me to do their commissioned portraits.
